Diablo 4: How To Get The Harlequin Crest (Mythic Unique)
In Season 5 of Diablo 4, the Harlequin Crest is one of the more sought-after Mythic Uniques. It is also known as the Shako, and it can be hard to find, but it is also very versatile since every class can use it. There are many ways to put this new helmet to use, and it is worth trying to find it as quickly as possible.
There are a lot of builds in Season 5 of Diablo 4 that use the Harlequin Crest as the Helm piece, which makes it a very valuable item to seek out. Luckily, there are ways to find it that have slightly better odds than others. You may find that you are struggling to do so, but you are not alone, as this is a hard gear piece to get your hands on.
The Harlequin Crest Drop Stats
Abilities and Affixes
The Harlequin Crest is notable for its ability to give you a 20% Damage Reduction and a +4 Rank to all Skills. This can boost you up by a lot, considering it can fill up your Skill Tree fast, which is why it is a popular choice for each class in Season 5.
It has four possible Affixes, which are listed below:
1. +1850 Maximum Life
2. +18 Maximum Resource
3. +2500 Armor
4. 20% Cooldown Reduction
Any of these would be good to roll, and it does have at least one empty socket that would allow you to customize it further. Which Enemies Drop Mythic Uniques
Bosses For The Harlequin Crest
The main thing to remember about this item is that there is no one place from which it drops, so if you want to find a specific drop point, you will have to grind for a little while. However, the typical Uber bosses such as Duriel, King of Maggots, and Echo of Andariel are going to be the one-stop shop for you to farm the Harlequin Crest if that is your goal. This will require at least World Tier 3, although being on World Tier 4 is recommended.
Additionally, you can find this the usual farming route of World events, such as Gathering Legions, World Bosses, Nightmare Dungeons, and Helltide Events. While you can be at World Tier 3 for this, it will work better at World Tier 4. However, if you want to find it in Nightmare Dungeons specifically, this will have to be done at World Tier 4, as you can only find these Diablo 4 items in Nightmare Dungeons of Tier 31 or higher.
However, while that is a possibility, you can run around the world searching for Level 85 or higher enemies and get the drop that way. Nearly anything you do at that level or higher has some chance of dropping the Helm, and you will more than likely find it eventually. Helltide Events are also big winners for leveling in Season 5 of Diablo 4 and getting to a max character faster, so you could kill two bones with one stone where that is concerned.
The last option is to find the Tormented Bosses, which only spawn on World Tier 4 and are level 200 bosses. They have lower-level counterparts, but these are much more difficult and require far more resources to summon. You can possibly get more than one Mythic Unique from each battle, but the investment cost may not be worth it at the higher difficulty.
If you think you have enough to get to these bosses and kill them without trying, it might well be worth it. Otherwise, the chances seem high enough elsewhere at Level 85 that you can likely do without.
How To Craft A Harlequin Crest
Resplendent Sparks
However, if you want to get the Harlequin Crest guaranteed without farming, it is possible. You will need to transmute it with the Alchemist, and you can, in theory, do this as soon as you hit Level 35. To see what you need, check out the table below:
Item: Resplendent Sparks, Gold
Quantity:4,50,000,000
Alchemists are located throughout Sanctuary and there is one very conveniently in Kyovashad. Opening up the Transmutation Menu once you are with the Alchemist will show you the crafting options, one of which should be the Harlequin Crest,no matter the class you are using. There are many ways to get Resplendent Sparks in Season 5, but if you need suggestions, check out this video from YouTuber Sliver of Time.
Once done, you will be able to wear the new helm and feel like you have all the power. When the Season ends, you can turn it into a Resplendent Spark for the next big Mythic item. And that is what you need to know about finding the Harlequn Crest helm in Diablo 4 Season 5.
