Diablo 4 item rarities and their corresponding colors
Confused about the rarity of items in Diablo 4, not all items are created equal in Diablo 4, there is a lot of loot to sift through during your journey through the vault. Fortunately, Blizzard continues Diablo's longstanding tradition of sorting items into color-coded rarity levels, a system that has stood the test of time – you've probably seen this in many other games system.
Here are the rarity levels of Diablo IV Gold items and their corresponding colors:
usual - white
magic - blue
rare - yellow
Legend - Orange
unique - gold
Gear is a core component of Diablo 4, and the rarity of your weapons and armor is directly tied to your progress in the grisly ARPG. While rarity is often a nice shorthand for indicating that one item is better than another, keep in mind that the value of your item may not always match the color that it's given. You may find that items lower in the loot tier system contain modifiers that complement your build better, so be sure to choose higher-tier items wisely.
simple
During the first few hours of exploring your vault, you'll likely find items of normal rarity. They have no unique or variable stats other than a base stat boost, which is enough to keep you alive until something better drops. In our experience, you should quickly tackle any common items you have equipped after tackling some dungeons and dungeons - at this point, they are best available for sale or salvage.
magic
Magic items are the next level of a rarity in buy Diablo 4 Gold. If you're new to Diablo, don't let the name fool you - these items aren't limited to spellcasters and can be used to support even the most violent Diablo 4 Barbarian builds. Not only do they have higher stats than normal items, but magic items can also contain up to two affixes, which introduces some variation as you start to hit Diablo 4's maximum level cap.
rare
We consider rare items to be the awkward juvenile stage of Diablo 4's item rarity tier, as they primarily serve as stepping stones between magical and legendary items. Depending on the drop, they can contain anywhere from two to six affixes, so the overall value of these rarities can vary widely - but in general, it's safe to assume they're slightly above your Magic options. You can get rare items by completing side quests, dungeons, or other activities that increase your Diablo 4 reputation.
legendary
Legendary items are some of the most sought-after items in Sanctuary, and as you approach the endgame of Diablo 4, you'll need to find rare items to equip yourself with. They include four common affixes plus a legendary affix which is stronger than the others. Legendary characters are usually released after clearing the fort or defeating a powerful boss. It's also worth mentioning that legendary and legendary items are tied to your account, so don't expect to trade valuable gear with your friends in Diablo 4 multiplayer.
Unique
Unique items have finally returned from the long-awaited Diablo 2. This rarity level includes “buildable items with fully patched attachments, with heavy themes and often class-specific powers, and unique skins,” as Blizzard's blog post puts it — though we do. find some Universal drops that can be equipped.
As the name suggests, each unique item has its own unique effect which enhances your class ability. While only one unique item can be equipped at a time, the benefits outweigh the effort (and money) required to build a Diablo 4 skill tree around it. Of course, you might only get to try out a unique item after overcoming some of the toughest challenges Lilith can throw at you, like killing a world boss or defeating a butcher.
