This build is an easy-to-pick-up-and-play build focused on fast gameplay and being in the fray while spamming Earthquakes and Dust Devils! The build has a slow start-up but great payoff once the engine starts working.

Barbarian Double Swing Build Overview

The Double Swing Build revolves around spamming the Double Swing ability Core Ability to generate many Dust Devils quickly to tear through large groups of enemies. The hardest part about getting this build started is the Fury generation, as spamming Double Swing over and over again will eventually cause issues, but there are various Legendaries and synergies we can use to circumvent that.

The nice part about this build is that as far as Unique requirements go, there are very few, mostly making use of your various Legendary Aspects to do everything for you.

For Uniques, we would recommend the powerful Ramaladni's Magnum Opus, which massively increases the amount of damage you do based on the amount of Rage you have. However, it does drain your Fury considerably, so once you have managed your Resource Generation, we recommend picking it up.

Barbarian Double Swing Build Playstyle

Like many Diablo playstyles, you'll want to remain as proactive as possible with this build. This build is all about cycling your cooldowns to maintain high Fury, spawn as many Dust Devils as possible, and create as many Earthquakes as possible to also continue spawning Dust Devils.

You'll primarily want to be using all your Shouts, namely Rallying Cry and War Cry to keep your Fury high while also using Ground Stomp and Leap to spawn Earthquakes. As you continue to progress through your build, Wrath of the Berserker becomes a powerful damage cooldown and you'll want to use Rupture as your secondary damage ability to increase your attack speed considerably to ramp up your damage and Resource Generation.

Always make sure your Shouts are on cooldown and the buffs are always active.

Try to maintain the Berserking Buff as long as possible

Use Ground Stomp on groups of enemies to spawn Dust Devils and create Earthquakes on the ground to continue spawning more Dust Devils.

Keep Wrath of the Berserker ready for large Elite pulls and Boss fights.

Use Rupture to increase your Attack Speed and activate some of your passives.

Spam Double Swing to spawn Dust Devils.

Barbarian Double Swing Skills

These are the skills you'll want for the early part of your build, utilizing Leap in order to be more mobile and generate more Earthquakes.

While these are the skills you'll want for the end game of your build, bringing War Cry back into your build to prioritize the buffs it gives after you've got a considerable amount of cooldown reduction to make Ground Stomp much more spammable.

Barbarian Double Swing Arsenal

For this guide, we'll want to use the One-Handed Sword Expertise or One-Handed Mace Expertise as we are dual-wielding with this particular setup. The One-Handed Sword Expertise will increase our Fury Generation while the One-Handed Mace Expertise will continue boosting our damage.

For our Technique Slot, you can put in the Two-Handed Axe Expertise to boost our damage against vulnerable enemies.
