The Glintstone Nails is a new sorcery introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. It combines precise magical strikes with stunning effects, offering increased stagger damage to enemies. This spell is especially effective against opponents vulnerable to poise breaks, such as fast-moving bosses or heavily armored enemies.

Effect: Summons magical nails that pierce enemies, dealing damage and increasing poise damage on hit.

Where to Find the Glintstone Nails Spell

Start Count Ymir's Questline:

Begin by speaking with Count Ymir to obtain the Rune Map. Elden Ring Items will direct you to the Finger Ruins of Rhia.

Find the Finger Ruins of Rhia:

Travel to the Finger Ruins, located deep within Rhia's region. Look for the central stone monument inside the ruins.

Activate the Stone Monument:

Interact with the monument to activate it. This will unlock new dialogue options with Ymir.

Return to Ymir:

After activating the stone, head back to Ymir's shop. He will now offer the Glintstone Nails spell for 12,000 Elden Ring Runes.

What If You Miss Ymir's Shop?

Count Ymir's Bell Bearing:

If you finish Ymir's questline, his shop will no longer be available. However, defeating Ymir will reward you with Ymir's Bell Bearing.

Using the Bell Bearing:

Take the Bell Bearing to the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold. This will transfer Ymir's entire inventory, allowing you to purchase the Glintstone Nails spell even after Ymir is gone.

With its high stagger potential, Glintstone Nails is an excellent addition for magic-focused builds, especially when paired with other poise-breaking sorceries.
