Skull And Bones: How To Get Ironwood Plank

When you look at the Refined Materials section of the codex in Skull And Bones, you'll notice that the Skull and Bones items are divided into different rarities. However, an item being uncommon like the Ironwood Plank doesn't necessarily mean that they're hard to get.

The rarity of an item in the codex can also signify how hard it is to reach the general area to find that item. Once you cross the seas and reach the East Indies part of the map, you can stack up on Ironwood Planks quite easily.

Where To Get Ironwood Planks

The best part about Skull And Bones is that you don't necessarily need to follow the main story to increase your Infamy fast since there are many other ways. Once you get a few ranks to your pirate, you can unlock the Padewakang ship blueprint, which is one of the best vessels for the mid-game, and this is also the main item that you'll need Ironwood Planks for.

To get this type of wood, you'll have to go through the storms and high tides of the Open Seas on the eastern side of the map and reach the main island structure of the East Indies. Once you successfully make this journey, getting Ironwood is a piece of cake since both Rempah and Dutch factions have it. Here are the ways you can farm this wood quickly:

Track Ironwood from your codex and look for the locations where you can find trees that provide this kind of wood. These are scattered all around the East Indies, and you can easily stack up to 50 of them without using violence. Of course, this method can be quite slow and you might also not get the trees at the location if another player gets to them first.

If you want to get Ironwood faster and don't mind violence, you can scout and attack the ships or bases containing this wood. The best place to attack Ironwood Planks is the Lumberyards in the East Indies making cheap Skull and Bones items. If you attack a ship or a base of a certain faction, they'll get aggressive towards you for a little while.

If you're trying to farm for the Padewakang ship, your best course of action is to farm the wood and refine it at a Refinery instead of attacking other factions since you'll likely be quite low-level.
